What are your clinical areas of interest?

I am most interested in assisting people through the rehabilitation process following traumatic injuries of the hand and upper extremities. As a Certified Hand Therapist, I specialize in post-operative conditions, cumulative trauma, peripheral nerve injuries, and chronic conditions of the entire upper extremity. I also specialize in fabricating custom splints to assist with the rehabilitation process.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

I enjoy working with people of all ages, and I believe that the key to good rehabilitation is to identify the interests and activities that motivate each patient individually, and use these interests as part of the recovery process.

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

I have three children at home, all under the age of 4, so most of my spare time is taken up with keeping up with them. My husband and I enjoy going to movies when we can get away, and we also love to travel.
