I decided to become a physical therapist because I always knew I wanted to help people feel better. I've alaways enjoyed sports, physical activity, and pushing people to do their very best. So naturally, physical therapy was a very good fit for me.
What are your clinical areas of interest?
I currently split my time between inpatient and outpatient physical therapy. I enjoy both areas and the challenges they bring, but I really enjoy working with the older adults. They bring wisdom and understanding with them, and almost always are very appreciative of the care they receive from me.
What is your philosophy of patient care?
My patient care philosophy is to treat the patient like they are my own mother/father. I want them to be comfortable and make sure they receive the results they are looking for. However, I know most people need to be encouraged at times, so I am willing to be that source of encouragement.
How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)
I spend most of my time with my family and friends during my time off. I enjoy working out to stay healthy and going out to eat at different restaurants.

I am currently planning a wedding for the summer of 2010.
