I love being around people. Being able to provide care to others to nurture their well being makes me feel good.
What are your clinical areas of interest?
Ob-gyn and urogynecology are my clinical areas of interest.
What is your philosophy of patient care?
I believe that patients need to be educated about their condition and be involved in their care. I want to be an advocate for my patients. I like my patients to be a partner in their care. Their health is important and I try to involve them in their care as much as possible.
How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)
I enjoy spending time with my husband and children (daughter age 4 ½ and son age 6 mo), exercising, hanging out with friends, shopping, and participating in community events such as Race for the Cure, Go Red for Women and the Alzheimer Memory walk.
Provide an interesting anecdote about you.
I worked as a labor and deliver high risk ob nurse for seven years prior to graduating with my masters degree and NP. Then I transferred to Methodist Physicians Clinic.
