Q & A
What made you choose a medical career?
I chose a career in counseling because I felt a real calling to be of support and service to others. Life gets difficult and everyone struggles at some point. Having someone to listen, offer guidance and support can be invaluable when we’re at low points.
What are your clinical areas of interest?
My clinical areas of interest are in depression, anxiety, infertility, fetal/infant loss and grief.
What is your philosophy of patient care?
I believe that everyone deserves compassion, everyone wants to feel heard and valued; and change is possible. Remembering these things helps me provide quality care for my patients.
How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)
I love spending time with my son, watching movies, eating out, and reading. I’m active in my church and enjoy working out.
